He managed to get acting work in a couple of TV movies of minor importance before being cast opposite Mischa Barton in the movie You and I (2008), which can get a theatrical release in 2009. Shantel and Mischa playing two teenagers who fall in love after meeting at a tATu concert.
In 2009 Shantel was a guest in an episode of "CSI: NY". "One Tree Hill" and a recurring role on other work for the small screen includes a commercial Shantel Clean & Clear with fellow actress Kayla Ewell. She was in a series of recent films, including in my pocket (2009), The Final Destination (2009) and Something Wicked (2010).
